The mission of the Fine Arts educational program at West Delaware Community Schools is to provide students with a knowledge of technical, creative, & expressive skills in the arts so they will become lifelong participants and learners.
Mission Statement
Hi! My name is Alisa Neil and I am currently the art teacher here at West Delaware Middle School and High School. I graduated with a BA from Iowa State University in 1992 and an MA in Art & Design From Iowa State University in 1994. Manchester was my first job out of college and I have been here ever since! The best part about my job is being able to work with kids and help them think creatively. I love working with about every medium in art from airbrush, chalks, and pencil to oils, clay and photography. In my free time, I am either chasing my two kids around, going to sporting events, cheering on the Cubs or Cyclones, being involved with livestock, taking pictures or antique & shoe shopping! I have been blessed with the ability to be a very creative person & inspire, and I hope to share that talent with others.
